Preschool children learn by doing, at The Children's Place your child will strengthen his or her cognitive skills by having numerous opportunities to engage in hands-on activities. A preschooler's world is an open book as they learn to improve coordination, learn new games and begin to interact and make new friends.

Our curriculum addresses topics that encourage children to help develop their skills and confidence. Your child will be exposed to language, math, science, creative art, music and social development. We will challenge your child to explore, learn, make new friends and develop self confidence as he or she grows.

Our teachers will communicate with you on a daily basis to keep you informed about your child's day. Watch your child learn new things and flourish in our exciting classrooms.

The Children's Place is an on-site pre-school campus for the Arlington Independent School District. The teacher in this unique classroom is provided by the school district and the teacher assistant is an employee of The Children's Place.

In this class, the children are exposed to high quality literature to promote the love of reading. Our daily activities develop reading and writing skills and introduce literacy concepts. Children are introduced to the world of numbers, sorting, counting, and grouping as well as other math skills. Group time teaches your child to listen, share, cooperate, and take turns along with a being a team player and a friend. We will also help your child develop their large motor skills by jumping, running, throwing, and kicking - and small motor skills such as writing, drawing and cutting.
